My 54th Birthday Resolution

My 54th Birthday Resolution

I am not going to write 54 things this year. Nor write about fifty-four friends that affected my life.
I am going to write about only one thing.
“Do what you said you would do when you said you would do it, the way you said you would do it.”
The above statement is my resolution for this year and years to come.
During my life on this beautiful earth, I have learnt a great lesson that action is the vehicle that moves you toward your goals.
Not even prayer. I am not knocking down the prayer, but we have over rated praying above taking action. Even in the bible, Apostle James said faith without action is dead. There is time to pray and time to act. Pray when you are supposed to pray and work when you need to act.
I will always do whatever I said I would do which is the best way to beat procrastination every time. I was meditating on my birthday, not celebrating it and I discovered the only problem affecting my progress in life is procrastination. I know a lot of things to do to move forward and be more successful in life. But I was not doing what I should be doing or doing them smartly.
A few years ago I taught a guy, on how to trade online forex. I charged him fifty thousand Naira for it. He took my notes and did a conference on it in one of the five-star hotels in Nigeria. On that day, he made six hundred thousand Naira pure profit.
I have written many books which are gathering dust on hard disk ready to be published.
I have written many songs that could have been produced. I have the resources to produce them, but I did nothing.
My ideasuniversity is just waiting for promotion, which I was not doing
My udemy.com courses are waiting to be finished
My weekly podcast is yet to take off
I have stopped posting on my blog, despite the fact that many of my readers keep on asking for more.
So I have made up my mind to wake up from slumber and get to work.
